Zolez Asian Colada (Coconut Lychee)

Southeast Asia meets the Caribbean in this Asian inspired cocktail. Coconuts, Lychees and Zolez Blanco.

Ingredients

  • 1 (20-ounce) can of whole, peeled lychees in heavy syrup (drained and 1 tablespoon heavy syrup reserved)
  • 8 ounces full-fat coconut milk
  • 4 ounces pure coconut water
  • 5 ounces Zolez rum
  • 5-6 large ice cubes, plus more for serving
    lime wedges, for garnishing

Mixology

  1. Combine the drained and peeled lychees, 1 tablespoon of the reserved heavy syrup, coconut milk, coconut water, rum, and ice cubes in a blender. Puree until smooth.
  2. Pour over crushed ice or additional ice cubes, and garnish with lime wedges. Serve immediately.
  3. This drink can actually be made a few hours in advance and kept in a container in the fridge. Shake well before serving (however, it will not have that frozen texture).
